Full-Stack Developer (m/w/d) Python

Your mission

To strengthen our development team, we are looking for an experienced, generalist-minded professional with a passion for clean code and modern development methods who will help us continuously improve our products.

This position is fully remote – you can work from anywhere in Germany or Switzerland.

Your responsibilities

  • You work as a Full-Stack Developer with a clear focus on backend development across our products and solutions.
  • You design and implement robust backend services and, where necessary, also contribute to frontend development.
  • You design database schemas and bring your understanding of CI/CD processes into our development pipelines.
  • You use AI-supported, agentic development methods in a targeted and responsible way to accelerate development processes – always with a focus on clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
  • You develop a deep understanding of our products and the underlying business logic.
  • You apply Domain-Driven Design and Behaviour-Driven Development to translate requirements precisely into software.
  • You actively contribute to our planning and development process, proactively identify problems and independently drive solutions forward.
  • You share your knowledge within the team and support junior developers in their professional development.

Your profile

Your skills

  • Must have: Python, FastAPI, GitLab, CI/CD, agentic/AI-supported development
  • Nice to have: TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, Domain-Driven Design, Behaviour-Driven Development

What you bring

  • Several years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a clear backend focus, including at least 5 years of backend development experience with Python
  • Experience working in distributed teams and familiarity with remote collaboration
  • A strong quality mindset with a focus on clean, maintainable, well-tested and traceable code, particularly when working with AI-generated code
  • A high level of initiative, an independent way of working and the ability to proactively identify and address problems
  • Enjoyment in sharing knowledge and supporting junior developers in their professional development
  • Strong communication skills in an international, distributed team
